Trail Running Gear

Whether you're looking for the best trail running kit or looking to upgrade your pack, we are constantly testing numerous items of trail running gear up and down the UK to deliver the most representative and helpful write-up to you. Whenever you read a Great British Adventure Club review, you can be guaranteed that the opinion is based on real-life experience with that individual bit of kit, and that the final opinion is totally unbiased, authentic and 100% honest. That being said,

To put trail running gear through its paces, Great British Adventure Club members are regularly out on trail runs across the country — including regular ultra-marathons, multi-day runs and other trail events UK-wide. In fact, you may spot a Great British Adventure Club member putting a pair of shoes through their paces on a lumpy marathon along the North Devon coast. And then you might spot that exact same pair of shoes months later tackling a wet and windy autumnal section of the Welsh 3000s. We do all of this because we don't believe that trying a piece of trail running gear gives you enough experience with that item to tell people what you think about it. Instead, we believe that to understand how a piece of trail running gear performs — be it a trail pack, a running jacket or a pair of zero-drop shoes — you've got to put it through all of the various challenges gear faces in the UK. And that's a challenge we're happy to rise to.
