Promotion Terms and conditions

1. Promoter and promotion

• The promoter is GB Adventure Club Ltd t/a “The Great British Adventure Club”, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16333288, with its registered office at insert registered office address (the Promoter).

• The promotion is a free prize draw to win one of four wild camping experiences in 2026 (the Promotion).

2. Eligibility

• The Promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Promotion.

• The Promotion is limited to one entry per person; duplicate entries or entries using multiple email addresses may be disqualified.

3. How to enter

• To enter, participants must submit their email address via the sign‑up form at URL during the Promotion Period and, where required, tick the box to consent to receive marketing emails from the Promoter.

• No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and making a purchase will not increase a participant’s chances of winning.

• The Promotion opens at time on start date and closes at time on end date (the Promotion Period). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

4. Prize details

• There are four prizes in total, each consisting of a wild camping experience for one person either in the Lake district or Dartmoor, on a date to be agreed between the Promoter and each winner, subject to availability and weather conditions.

• Unless expressly stated otherwise, travel, insurance, equipment, food, and any other expenses are not included and are the responsibility of the winner and their companions.

5. Winner selection and notification

• All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered into a random draw, which will take place within 7 days of the Promotion closing date.

• Four winners will be selected at random by the Promoter, and each winner will be allocated one prize.

• Winners will be notified by email using the address provided on entry within 7 days of the draw and must respond within 14 days to claim their prize, or they may forfeit it and the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

6. Prize conditions and safety

• Wild camping experiences may be subject to specific participation requirements (for example, reasonable physical fitness and compliance with guide instructions); details will be provided to winners in advance.

• Winners and their companions participate at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate clothing, equipment and insurance. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Data protection and marketing

• The Promoter will collect and process participants’ personal data (including email addresses) for the purposes of administering the Promotion and, where participants give consent, for sending marketing emails about the Promoter’s products, services and offers.

• Marketing emails will only be sent where the participant has given valid consent under UK GDPR and PECR (freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, indicated by a clear affirmative action such as ticking an opt‑in box).

• Participants can withdraw their consent and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting the Promoter at info@greatbritishadventureclub.co.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

8. General terms

• The prize is non‑exchangeable, non‑transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.

• The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, disqualify any participant or withdraw the prize where it reasonably believes there has been a breach of these terms, manipulation of the Promotion or any fraudulent, dishonest or unlawful activity.

• The Promoter may cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion and/or these terms where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances outside its reasonable control, provided that any changes do not materially disadvantage participants.

• The Promotion and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
