Every on-sale adventure includes the same essential kit as our other trips where specialist equipment is required — so there’s no need to invest in gear before you know you enjoy it. We provide high-quality tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, pillows, and sleeping bag liners when needed, all chosen to suit the trip and the conditions, so you can focus on the experience rather than the logistics.
All the kit we use is chosen for comfort, reliability and ease of use — gear that stands up to Britain’s unpredictable weather while still being manageable for family adventures. Tents are quick to pitch, sleeping systems are warm and cosy, and everything is well suited to shorter walks and camps designed for little legs.
If you’re unsure what to pack, need advice for camping with kids, or want reassurance before your trip, just shout. We’re always happy to help make sure your family feels fully prepared and excited for their adventure.

A bit of rain won’t stop us — these adventures are designed for the British outdoors, after all. But if conditions are unsafe or severe enough that a trip can’t go ahead, it will be cancelled and you’ll be offered either a full refund or the option to rebook for another date. Your safety and enjoyment always come first, whether you’ve booked at full price or on sale.

The moonlit walk was a wonderful experience. Keith is a great leader: he finds a lovely balance of personal anecdote, informative inputs on historical and natural features and just letting the group enjoy themselves. His engaging and relaxed manner conceals his levels of experience and expertise and the care he takes in choosing the routes and attending to safety, which leaves the rest of us free to simply enjoy the walk. He even managed to lay on nightjars for us!
